Believe it or not, Dry Mouth occurs in women more than men, and is also referred to as Xerostomia. Statistics say that 1 out of 5 adults suffer from this disease. Sometimes there can be several complications with the disease, but mainly caused by the meditations that you can take for them. Normal everyday functions such as taste, speech, swallowing, smell, sight and mastication can be greatly affected by this disease.

The symptoms for this disease contain a decrease in saliva, dry/cracked lips, burning tongue, dry cheeks, dry throat, dryness in the nose, dry or burning eyes, dry skin or the development of a butterfly rash, pain and swelling of joints, problems and difficulties with eating dry food and tasting difficulties.
