Sonicare Toothbrushes

Philips Medical Systems offers several Sonicare price toothbrushes, with various features. Sonicare toothbrushes utilize the vibrating power of sonic technology that oral care professionals have been using in their offices for years. This technology is now available for in-home use with Sonicare.

Even if you know you want a Sonicare, price and toothbrush effectiveness are concerns for those making the switch from using manual toothbrushes, to the use of electric models. $60.00 is about what you will spend for the most basic model from Sonicare. Price and toothbrush effectiveness both increase as you approach the newest Sonicare Model; the IntelliClean 8800, which is priced at about $145.00.

Here are details on the Sonicare models:

The Sonicare Advance toothbrushes are available in the 4100 series, 4300 series, and the 4700 series. These are Sonicare’s most affordable models. They lack all the frills, but produce powerful plaque-fighting results. These models have a 2 minute timer. The 4300 comes with a carry case, and the 4700 comes with an extra brush head.

The Sonicare Elite models are the 7300 and the 7500. Both models feature brush heads with long, thin, angled necks, and small heads that reach far inside the mouth for maximum cleaning. Both have a a 2 minute timer, and a 30-second-interval timer, and a carry case. The 7500 includes dual speed control, and a gauge that indicates the charge level of the battery.

Sonicare’s IntelliClean System incorporates a special Crest toothpaste cartridge into the brush. The toothpaste moves up through the brush, and through a special brush head that is specifically designed to dispense the Crest toothpaste.
